Climate change is forcing companies to rethink their approach. In addition to technological solutions, nature-based CO₂ offsetting is becoming increasingly important. Grow My Tree supports organizations in first reducing emissions at source and then offsetting them through targeted tree planting.
Trees protect the climate, preserve biodiversity, clean air and water, and create habitats. They are gifts for future generations and strengthen local communities.
Grow My Tree recently visited Think Peepal Nursery, our dedicated planting partner in Punjab, India. The nursery is a beacon of innovation, blending traditional grafting techniques with modern sustainable practices, such as intercropping and drip irrigation. Facing challenges such as extreme heat and water scarcity, Think Peepal empowers local farmers with high-quality saplings and training, while also providing meaningful employment and hope to community members. Our visit highlighted the profound environmental and social impact of tree planting, reaffirming our commitment to a greener, more resilient future.
In response to increasingly severe heatwaves in India, our team has implemented a tree-planting initiative to help mitigate the impacts of climate change. This blog highlights the adaptive measures taken to protect workers' health and the sustainable practices employed to ensure the success of the project.
