ZERO WASTE - is that even possible?
No :) I think it's almost impossible. Luckily our world is not black and white. Start small and stay consistent, that way you will be able to achieve a lot.
Living zero waste is an attitude
Zero waste doesn't just mean reducing waste. It's about living more mindfully and sensitively. If we make ourselves aware that only we, and therefore every individual, have to do something to prevent an environmental collapse, we can really change something. There is something really great about it: we save time, money and live healthier, if we try to live a little more simple and concentrate on the essentials.
Open yourself to a new alternative
This may all be good and right, you might think, but actually you neither have the time nor the nerve to pay attention to the garbage in every situation in life? At first it seems a lot easier to stick to old habits. But what will you tell your grandchildren later when they ask you why you helped garbaging their world?
Step by step instead of everything at once
You don't have to do everything at once. Every critical thought, every new move is worth something. Start with one thing and go at your own pace. E.g. you could plan to clear out your kitchen this week. You clear away superfluous items, sort out all cooking utensils, dishes and cutlery that you haven't picked up in the last 12 months. Then you take another room every week, every month or every year.
What can you do?
The most important thing is that you don't get discouraged and that you start today to change small things in your life. Be creative! With this GROW MY TREE blog and our Instagram Account we would like to provide you with simple tips and tricks on your way, and thushelp you and the whole world to live more mindful and sustainable life.
